At Egon Ålesund, we are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen team and ensure high-quality operations every single day. This is both a rewarding and demanding role, where your presence and leadership in the kitchen are crucial to success.

If you have not worked at Egon before, you will receive thorough training at another Egon restaurant before taking over the kitchen in Porsgrunn.

About the role

As Kitchen Manager, you will be the head of the kitchen and responsible for the overall daily operations. This includes:

• Being present in the kitchen to secure quality and smooth service
• Ensuring food safety (HACCP) and high culinary standards
• Cost control and budgeting
• Scheduling and staff management together with the Assistant Kitchen Manager
• Delivering consistent results with a focus on both food and financial performance

You will also get the opportunity to work with fresh, high-quality ingredients from trusted Norwegian suppliers. Our sauces and dressings are made in-house from our own recipes, ensuring the unique Egon taste.

Training and development
