Chief People Officer - Formue

Formue is seeking a strategic and driven Chief People Officer to play a pivotal role in our growth and cultural transformation. As CPO at Formue, you will be instrumental in building and embedding a performance-driven and value-based culture, enabling our next phase of growth. You will lead the People function and play a central role in ensuring that our culture, structures, and processes support both strategic ambitions and operational excellence.

The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, balancing culture and performance with scalable processes and technology. Serving as a trusted advisor and coach to senior leaders, you will foster the winning mindset required to deliver long-term success. The CPO will work closely with group executive management and report to the CFO.

The position is located in Oslo. Some traveling will be required.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive a performance- and value-based culture with clear frameworks, KPIs, and accountability.

• Lead all HR/People processes, including recruitment, employer branding, onboarding, development, compensation & benefits, and compliance.

• Integrate new technologies and AI to enhance efficiency, decision-making, and people practices.

• Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders across all levels.

• Strengthen leadership impact, talent development, and organizational capability to deliver on ambitious growth targets.

Desired skills and qualifications:

• Experience from high-performance environments such as professional services or finance.

• Proven track record of building and implementing effective performance management structures.

• Broad HR expertise across the full employee lifecycle, ideally with international exposure, including solid understanding of compliance, employment law, and relevant health & safety requirements.

• Influential and collaborative leader with strong integrity, resilience, and the ability to inspire change across the organization.

• Strong academic background (Business, HR, Organizational Psychology, or related).

• Fluent in Norwegian, full professional proficiency in English.
