Fiberpoff AS is expanding rapidly so we are currently looking for a TELECOMMUNICATION TECHNICIAN who wants to grow and improve in this field. You will be responsible for installations and dismantling of copper and optical cables, laying and fixing cables outside and inside the house, cabinet mounting, installation and activation of routers, etc.

Requirements:

• Similar work experience

• Secondary special education or Bachelor degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent is a plus

• Good knowledge of English (spoken and written) (Norwegian is a plus)

• Valid residence permit in Norway / EU/EEA passport

• B category driving license (BE, CE is a plus)

• Good physical condition and the ability to work in various weather conditions

• You are responsible, flexible, able to work in the team

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nature of work:

• Work with the installation and repair of infrastructure such as fiber optic cables, pipes, etc., using microtrenching equipment.

• Conduct cable installation and dismantling, including cable blowing.

• Work with both optical and copper cables, laying and fixing them outside and inside of houses.

• Perform splicing of optical cables and install distribution boxes.

• Install and activate routers in residential and commercial settings.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fiber optic and copper cable installations.
