You will be responsible for handling import declarations, including temporary imports and Tollpass follow‑up and providing expert advice on import‑related issues. The role offers interesting and demanding assignments in an international environment with excellent opportunities for professional development, within an informal atmosphere that values openness and personal responsibility.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit import declarations, including temporary import and Tollpass.

  • Advise internal stakeholders on import regulations and compliance issues.

  • Perform electronic recalculations and coordinate with Norwegian customs authorities.

  • Monitor and follow‑up on customs clearances and related documentation.

  • Maintain accurate records in the compliance system.

  • Conduct periodic audits of import processes.

  • Support logistics and supply‑chain teams with customs clearance matters.

  • Stay updated on changes in Norwegian customs legislation.

  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on customs procedures.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of compliance processes.

Qualifications
  • Relevant higher education (e.g., logistics, international trade) or equivalent experience.

  • Proven experience in customs clearance, import compliance, logistics or supply chain.

  • Strong knowledge of Norwegian customs regulations and Tollpass procedures.

  • Proficiency in electronic customs systems and data recalculation tools.

  • Excellent communication skills in Norwegian (written and spoken); English proficiency is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

  • High level of organization and time‑management skills.

  • Attention to detail and systematic approach.

What we offer
  • The opportunity to join a small, collaborative customs and compliance team where you can take meaningful ownership of your work.

  • Exposure to evolving Norwegian customs requirements and regulatory topics, including upcoming declaration-process changes and potential CBAM-related work.

  • Broad collaboration across NOV, including Purchasing, Logistics and warehouse teams, as well as contact with suppliers, freight forwarders and Norwegian customs authorities.

  • Tailored on-the-job training based on your existing experience, supported by an experienced team member.

  • Opportunities to take on additional assignments and broaden your responsibilities, with potential for longer-term development toward a leading role.
