We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team at our location in Oslo or Stockholm (Y)our Mission:

Our solutions contribute to flexible and customer-friendly payment alternatives. We allow consumers to choose when and how they want to pay, guaranteeing merchants a steady and predictable cash flow. Our products make us proud, but not content, and we have high ambitions for our existing and upcoming products. We’re now modernizing and strengthening one of our key products with renewed focus in the Nordics --- backed by the strength of a global group, but with the energy and ownership of a startup. You’ll join a newly formed product & tech team, helping shape how we work and how we grow as we double down on building sustainable, human-centric FinTech solutions.

Your key responsibilities:

• In this role, you will work as a full-stack engineer, primarily focusing on backend tasks and having smaller front-end responsibilities. You will join one of our products, and your daily tasks will be:

• Design, develop, test, and ship robust, maintainable, and readable software, applications, APIs, and other workflows.

• Attend regular scrum ceremonies as a member of an agile cross-functional team.

• Analyze, discuss and implement business requirements while maintaining good documentation of the systems and components you create.

• Adopt, implement, and provide feedback on organizational and industry standards and practices that will positively impact on our engineering culture.

What will help you to succeed in the role:

• A university degree in the IT field

• Hands-on experience with C# and the .NET framework.

• Experience in frontend development with any modern JavaScript framework (e.g., Angular).

• Some experience in developing, shipping, and maintaining cloud-based applications.

• A good understanding of RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with microservices and distributed architecture is a plus.

• Experience with relational databases, preferably SQL Server.

• Knowledge of cloud development and experience with Azure is a bonus.

• Written and spoken English proficiency to communicate and collaborate with our international team.
