Senior Consultant within Energy Grant Funding

An important part of our global strategy is to grow our business in Norway within energy sectors like hydrogen, energy storage, CCUS, renewables and decarbonization of energy-intensive industries. As our Senior Consultant you will take a proactive lead in business development, building and sustaining client relationships, and expanding Innovayt’s presence in the energy innovation landscape in Norway.

About the role:

• Identify and develop new clients within the energy sector in Norway, especially private industries

• Assist clients in designing and presenting their cutting-edge new energy and low-carbon technology/research projects for funding, nationally and internationally

• Become a trusted advisor for our clients on topics as grants, loans, equity and tax incentives

• Conduct market and technology research with both a practical and scientific mindset, focusing on feasibility and delivery

• You’ll be backed by our global project management teams in securing funding and delivering results

We think you should have:

• Higher degree in a relevant area, preferably within Engineering or Finance, and possibly with a specialisation in Energy Technology, Environmental Technology, or other disciplines directly relevant to Green Transition or Project Finance

• 5+ years of relevant experience from green energy or decarbonization

• Preferred but not a must, hands-on experience with grant proposal writing, green project finance, research, or other background directly relevant to the job

• A strong network within the Norwegian energy market or the ability to build and sustain this network

• Strong analytical capacity and experience with complex and research-related problem-solving

• Excellent drafting skills and ability to present ideas, complex concepts, and scientific arguments in a concise and easily understandable written format

• Excellent English skills -- both writing and speaking

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work and communicate extensively with clients, partners, and colleagues from various backgrounds
