With operations in 30 countries, we are now looking for an experienced Senior Quality Manager who wants to make a meaningful contribution to our QHSSE team and help further strengthen quality across our global organisation.
This is an opportunity for a proactive and motivated professional who is passionate about quality, continuous improvement, and effective management systems. You will work closely with business areas, operations, and support functions, taking an important role in developing robust processes, driving improvement, and enabling high-quality performance across the company.
Qualifications- Higher education at MSc or BSc level, combined with documented experience in quality management and improvement processes. Extensive relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
- Documented qualifications as an audit and investigation lead.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and document control principles.
- Minimum five years' experience in a similar role.
- Thorough knowledge of ISO standards and other QHSSE-related requirements.
- Good knowledge of Norwegian regulations.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
- Develop and maintain global QHSSE processes and procedures in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 31000 standards.
- Maintain Odfjell Technology's ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, including audit coordination and follow-up of actions.
- Own and further develop the company's document management framework, including standards, procedures, and best practices in line with QHSSE requirements.
- Ensure effective governance and lifecycle management of documents
- Act as process owner for document control, providing guidance to the organisation and collaborating with system management teams and IT to improve digital document control capabilities
- Manage and further develop the company's experience transfer system.
- Deliver training and provide guidance in quality management and HSE systems.
- Monitor changes in Norwegian onshore HSE legislation and support the development of regional procedures.
- Coordinate internal audit plans and carry out audits, verifications, and investigations.
- Lead and support management of change activities and facilitate risk assessments.
- Assist with tender work.
- Analyse quality performance, trends and nonconformities.
- Lead improvement processes and quality-related initiatives.
- Provide professional support to internal business areas within quality management and QHSSE systems.
- Offshore travels as required.
- Engaged, motivating, and quality-oriented, with strong communication skills.
- Competent, structured, and solution-oriented.
- Able to work independently while actively contributing to team success.
- Reliable, proactive, and results-oriented.
