Join our team as Department Manager!

About the role:

Pure Salmon Technology is seeking a dedicated Department Manager to lead our Process Engineering and Fish Welfare department. Office location could be Sandefjord or Drammen. As a part of our engineering unit, you will play a key role in delivering innovative RAS solutions, ensuring process excellence, and advancing fish welfare across our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Further develop process engineering and fish welfare as competitive advantages in the market for Pure Salmon Technology.

• Further develop process engineering and fish welfare as competitive advantages in the market for Pure Salmon Technology

• Develop annual road maps and manage departmental budgets, including forecasting

• Oversee onboarding, personal, and professional development, including performance appraisals

• Ensure the department has the right expertise, resources, work processes, methods, and tools to deliver on core activities

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Experience & Qualifications:

The essence of your experience and qualifications is that you understand the challenges of our customers and is able to transform this into a commercial advantage for Pure Salmon Technology together with your team.

• Higher education in technical or aquaculture disciplines

• Experience from land-based fish farming as a fish farmer, process engineer, technical manager, and similar

• Experience from project deliveries involving process engineering, water processing, fish welfare, and similar

• Fluent in Norwegian (B-level) and English, both written and spoken

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience

• Experience in people management
