We are looking for a high-performing, commercially-minded individual that can work independently and thrives in a fast-paced, international environment. As Commercial Development Manager US, you will play a critical role in driving strategic initiatives across the value chain and supporting strategy development in US.
The role will be based in Oslo, report to VP Strategy Execution and be part of the Group’s M&A, Strategy and Group Business Development unit, with expectation to travel to the US on a frequent basis (~1 week per month).
What you’ll do- Lead and support strategic projects in the US delivering measurable business impact (commercial growth, operations, strategy deployment)
- Translate insights into action through market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and strategy development
- Support M&A activities with valuations, due diligence, and opportunity assessments
- Collaborate closely with senior leaders in the US and Group HQ to remove roadblocks and accelerate progress
- Education at bachelor's or master's level or higher, preferably within Business Administration / Marketing / Data Analytics / Finance or similar
- 2--3 years of experience at a top-tier management consultancy (or equivalent project-based experience)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to drive change management
- A proactive, hands-on approach with strong ownership of deliverables
- International outlook and willingness to travel frequently to the US (approx. 1 week/month)
