Take Responsibility -- The Position: Accounting Manager

We are seeking a Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating financial accounting, reporting, and compliance activities across its global operation. This role involves leading teams in Norway and France, working closely with accountants and finance teams worldwide, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, adherence to IFRS standards, and continuous seek improvement on status quo. working proactively to identify opportunities for value creation, mitigate risks, and inspire strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CFA preferred.

• Proven experience in accounting, consolidation, audit, tax and reporting.

• Strong knowledge of NGAAP and IFRS knowledge is an advantage.

• Experience with ERP systems, particularly M3 or similar.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work across diverse cultures and geographies.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead consolidation, reporting, and analysis of financial statements for the group.

• Preparation of annual accounts and coordinate with external auditors for audits for Stokke AS, and oversee this process for subsidiaries.

• Oversee accounts payable processes to ensure efficient and compliant payment cycles.

• Ensure VAT compliance and manage tax filings across different jurisdictions.

• Oversee cash flow management and bank administration, including reconciliations, integration, account set up etc.

• Lead and develop the finance teams in Norway and France, providing strong guidance and support.

• Drive continuous process improvements and maintain strong internal controls.

• Responsible for annual financial statements, including IFRS conversions, and tax preparation and documentation.

• Ensure compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards and reporting required.

• Manage ad-hoc financial projects and provide strategic financial insights to senior management.
