About the position
The UiO Green Office is looking for a student employee to help strengthen sustainability engagement across student life, education, and research at the University of Oslo.
This position is part of two of our working groups; Education & Research and Dissemination & Dialogue work. They work to connect students, student organizations and researchers to strengthen sustainability engagement at UiO.
Qualifications
Previous experience or education related to organizational work or education is an advantage. You must be enrolled as a UiO student throughout 2026 and 2027
Key responsibilities and tasks include:
- Collaborating with the Student Parliament, student organizations and other sustainability initiatives.
- Promoting sustainability-related education and research at UiO
- Contributing to larger events such as the SDG conference, theme weeks and national and international Green Office networks
- Supporting projects that connect students, faculties, and researchers
Personal skills
We are looking for someone who:
- Has an interest in sustainability education and research and student engagement
- Can work independently and take responsibility for projects
- Enjoys working collaboratively in a team
Has strong organizational skills
It is an advantage if you have experience with:
- Student organizations, politics (i.e. program committee), volunteer work, or project coordination.
- Event planning, communication, or outreach activities
We offer
- A 20-30% position (depending on your capacity)
- Salary NOK 425 000 - per year for a full-time position (pro-rated for 20–30%).
