About the Role

At KOK Oslo, our mission is to create world-class floating sauna experiences. As a Sauna Master, you’ll be at the heart of that mission - ensuring our saunas are warm, welcoming, and ready, and that every guest feels cared for from the moment they arrive until they leave.

This is a guest-facing role for someone who takes pride in hospitality, enjoys working hands-on, and thrives in dynamic environments. From preparing sauna boats to performing rituals and creating magical guest moments, you’ll be key to delivering the authentic KOK experience.

Your Responsibilities

1. Prepare sauna boats - cleaning, heating, and ensuring everything is ready.

2. Welcome guests warmly, provide clear information, and guide them into the sauna.

3. Host during visits - checking in on guests and ensuring they have everything that they need.

4. Offer and manage additional sales (drinks, merchandise, etc.).

5. Support guest check-out and encourage return visits.

6. Restock supplies and consumables.

7. Perform rituals such as aufguss (if required) and use of essential oils.

8. Keep facilities tidy and well-maintained, including opening/closing routines.

9. Follow all health, safety, and environmental requirements (including water lifesaving certification).

10. Contribute where needed to support the wider team.

You Should Have

• Experience in hospitality, service, or guest-facing roles.

• Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English.

• A welcoming, service-minded personality.

• Attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.

• Flexibility and willingness to jump in where needed.

• (Required) Strong swimming standard.

• (Required) Ability and willingness to complete water lifesaving certification.
