We are looking for a dedicated Lead Technician for our hub in Tonstad!

As a Lead Technician you will be responsible for directing the activities carried out by resources at a larger facility under their responsibility, with the main objective of ensuring that the operations are carried out in a productive manner to guarantee the profitability of contracts, in turn fulfilling contractual agreements with clients!

The hub is in Tonstad, the municipalities of Sirdal and Flekkefjord in Southern Norway and we will need to have our Lead Technician locally based.

How you’ll make an impact

Some of the responsibilities you have in the role as Lead Technician Windpower:

Coordinate the technical critical issue resolution path and fast response to activities carried out at the facilities.

Support analysis of causes of wind turbine shutdown. Identify the root cause and implement solutions.

Support action plans for technical aspects as applicable

Checking/supervising the overall condition of the wind turbines.

Responsible for detecting and resolving wind turbine malfunctions and faults, including analysis of the origin of faults and feedback to line org.

Service team supervision.

Assessing turbine visits -- tools, documentation, materials.

Setting to work safely for daily operations.

Day to day management of all wind farm activities.

Requesting the order of needed materials.

What you bring

Higher technical education within the relevant field is an advantage.

Experience within management or leading technicians.

Technical experience within wind power is a big plus.

Good experience with SAP.

Fluent Norwegian and English, oral and written.
