Join our team as Product Engineer -- Electrical Engineering

We are looking for a curious and hands‑on Product Engineer -- Electrical Engineering who wants to help shape the next generation of industrial products. You will join an international company in Skien with long experience, solid market position and big ambitions within green technology and sustainable industry. In this role you will work closely with colleagues from different disciplines, from design and production to quality and HSE. You will help ensure that our electrical solutions are safe, reliable, cost‑effective and ready for the future.

What you will do

You will be part of a cross‑functional product team where you take responsibility for the electrical part of our products, from concept to industrialisation and continuous improvement. Your days will be a mix of practical engineering, coordination and problem solving together with a skilled and down‑to‑earth team.

• Develop, adapt and maintain electrical designs and documentation for industrial products and systems
• Support production with technical clarifications, troubleshooting and root cause analysis on electrical issues
• Contribute to qualification, testing and verification of electrical components and assemblies
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, safety requirements and internal quality procedures
• Drive and support continuous improvement projects within safety, quality, environment and cost
• Collaborate closely with other parts of the value chain to secure smooth product delivery

What you bring

You are genuinely interested in electrical engineering and like to see that your ideas actually end up in the factory, not just in a slide deck. You are structured enough to handle documentation, but relaxed enough to talk to production when something needs fixing now.

• Bachelor’s in electrical engineering, mechatronics or similar technical field
• 3 years of experience from product development, industrial production, or similar environment
• Solid understanding of electrical design principles, safety, standards and documentation
• Experience with CAD tools for electrical design and basic familiarity with PDM/ERP systems
• Comfortable communicating in English in a multicultural setting, both written and spoken
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a cross‑functional team
