Would you like to be part of building a brand-new restaurant from the ground up?

In fall 2026, EGON will open its doors in Narvik, and we are now looking for an ambitious and hands-on Assistant Kitchen Manager to join the journey. This is a unique opportunity to become part of the leadership team of a new restaurant and help build the culture, team, and operational standards from day one.

About the Role

As Assistant Kitchen Manager, you are the Kitchen Manager's right hand and a key part of the kitchen leadership team. You will help ensure smooth daily operations, maintain high food quality standards, and support the development of a strong and motivated kitchen team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the daily operation of the kitchen together with the Kitchen Manager

• Ensuring HACCP compliance and food safety standards

• Maintaining high food quality and consistency

• Assisting with inventory management and cost control

• Staff scheduling and workforce planning

• Training and developing kitchen team members

• Contributing to a positive and professional working environment

• Taking an active role in daily kitchen production and service
