• A relevant degree in education

• Be a native Norwegian speaker or hold level C1 or above in Norwegian

• Contribute to an innovative educational environment

• Certified teacher status in Norway.

• A valid work permit or meet the requirements to work and live in Norway

• An understanding and commitment to safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures. All successful candidates will undergo an extensive background check.

• Provide a police background check from your home country and any country you have resided in for 6+ months in the last 10 years. Police background checks must be no more than 3 months old and can be presented prior to appointment.

• Be committed to the philosophy and practice of the International Baccalaureate

• Experience in the IB would be an advantage.

• Supervise students as per the playground duty roster,

• Take an active part in House and sporting activities, field trips and residential trips as required,

• Support community events throughout the year.
