We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Manager to join our Marine Sales team. Our new Sales Manager will be part of a company where technical expertise, teamwork, and long-term customer relationships truly matter.

Key responsibilities:
In this role, you will take an active part in strengthening Bergen Engines’ position in the Marine market. You will be responsible for managing customer relationships, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and ensuring that our power- and propulsion solutions meet the needs of shipowners, designers, and yards across key markets.
- Function as a Key Account Manager for defined customers and countries for the Marine market domain within Europe. Other regions outside Europe may become relevant dependent on the load and capacity situation within the Sales team at any given time
- Opportunity to be appointed segment lead for the right candidate
- Participate, promote, and present Bergen Engines products and services at customer meetings, and relevant exhibitions and seminars
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (shipowners, designers, and yards) and established sales and service partners to Bergen Engines with the aim to grow our OE and AM business
- Responsible to follow up new sales opportunities from bid to contract
- Participate in the internal hand-over meetings after contract signature
Key qualifications:
- Preferably a technical degree (B.Sc or M.Sc) within the marine industry and/or minimum 5 years of experience within complex technical products / areas in the marine market. Relevant work experience can replace the need of formal education
- Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English, both written and oral
- Good skills within Microsoft Office and Sales / CRM tools
