The Manager of Data Management and Business Intelligence will take the lead in shaping how Orkla House Care uses data to create value, improve decisions, and drive growth. This is a strategic role with responsibility for building a clear data strategy, establishing strong governance, and advancing our business intelligence capabilities. The role combines technical expertise with deep business insight, ensuring that data not only supports today's needs but also lays the foundation for future opportunities and expansion.
Your responsibilities:- Develop and implement a company-wide data strategy and governance framework.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and compliance with relevant standards.
- Lead BI platforms, dashboards, and reporting to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Translate business needs into scalable, accessible data solutions.
- Mentor and support a high-performing team of data and BI specialists.
- Partner with colleagues across departments, functions, and cultures to align data initiatives with business priorities.
- Stay curious about new trends, tools, and technologies, bringing forward ideas for future innovation.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in data management, business intelligence, or analytics
- Working across multiple countries
- Experience in data modeling, warehousing (e.g., SQL, Snowflake, Fabric), and ETL processes
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or similar platforms
- Good understanding of data governance, quality, and compliance frameworks
- Experience from cloud data ecosystems (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with predictive analytics, AI, and machine learning concepts is an asset
- Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to different audiences.
- Analytical and structured, with a focus on solutions.
- Collaborative, inclusive, and great at building relationships.
- Adaptable and proactive, with a willingness to learn and experiment.
