Helicopter mechanics and technicians for the SAR QUEEN team

About the Role

Leonardo Helicopters has a contract with the Norwegian Ministry of Justice and Public Security to supply and support the new Norwegian All Weather Search And Rescue Helicopter (NAWSARH), AW101. As part of this programme, the company has established a multi-discipline in-country liaison team including a maintenance organisation approved under EMAR145.

We are strengthening our maintenance organisation and are looking for motivated mechanics and technicians (B1, B2 and Component) to become part of our highly skilled team at Sola.

Key Responsibilities

Your main tasks will be to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the helicopter type AW101. You will participate in inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications, servicing and testing on a technically very advanced helicopter.

Qualifications & Experience

Completed apprenticeship in aircraft systems / avionics or completed Part 66 Basic

Experience in aircraft, helicopter or component maintenance

Good English skills, oral and written

Prerequisites for security clearance up to Norwegian Secret/NATO Secret (see NSM).
