As a Technical Data Specialist for Subsea, you will work in a team and be responsible for supporting the organization with in-depth capabilities and expertise for subsea and survey data management, and to conduct data management through data collection, quality assurance, organization, sharing/collaboration, and archiving.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Developing governance and structuring the collection, organization and archiving of subsea and seabed survey ROV and multimedia data
Establishing quality assurance workflows using available automation, programing and AI technologies
Engaging with external subsea contractors and software providers to promote data as product and ensure data requirement compliance
Improving common communication channels and procedures for information sharing and collaboration

Updating and setting standards, policies, and processes for subsea data management

Partner with contractors and stakeholders from relevant disciplines to understand and define data requirements

Ensure transfer control for both import and export of data to internal stakeholders and external subcontractors

Cooperate with GIS team to ensure data quality of survey data and data integration

Develop and support people development activities and training based on stakeholder need, readiness and progress.

Master's or bachelor's degree in data science, data analytics, information management and/or information technology (profound industrial and subject matter experience may compensate for missing formal background)

Expert skills and more than 5 years' hands-on experience in data management and related tools

Knowledge of visual review and video data management

Knowledge of Esri technology is a preference

Knowledge of data management with proficiency in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics disciplines

Analytical and troubleshooting skills with creativity and ability to critical thinking and problem solving

Oil & Gas Industry Experience

Digital change implementation/execution experience

Fluent in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written
