Following a recent acquisition of Uplink AS in Norway, we have a new exciting role at Chronos with responsibility for business development and account management activity across Scandinavia. Initially focused on Norway working alongside the MD from Uplink until he retires, you will maximise business opportunities and deliver margin from both the value- added reseller (VAR), and Chronos products business models, including associated installation, support and other professional services. You will have a track record of business development in an Electronics or High-Tech industry with experience in dealing with technical products and customers.
Main Responsibilities:-
To undertake strategic and tactical business development activity for existing and emerging market opportunities in Norway and latterly across Scandinavia to deliver business growth.

To build relationships with new clients while maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients including management of key customer accounts across Scandinavia.

To engage with key suppliers to the Chronos VAR model and undertake regular horizon scanning for new strategic routes to market.

To develop and implement strategic and tactical marketing opportunities and plans including market data, trends, customer requirements, promotion of existing brands and introduction of new products to the market in association with the Marketing team.

To attend and contribute presentations at relevant exhibitions, conferences, seminars, webinars and steering groups across the Scandic region and subsequently develop strategic relationships and business opportunities.

To attend all sales meetings and report to the Board as required including completion of all strategic forecasting activity.

To work with the sales team to meet agreed sales targets.

We believe you have an education or relevant work experience from electrical engineering, electronics, telecommunications or relevant field in high-tech or engineering.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a successful track record of business development within the technology industry with experience of dealing with technical products and customers.

You must be experienced in customer relationship management with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, and a dedication to delivering excellent customer service.

Ideally with experience in the Telecoms or Power industry you will understand current and future network infrastructures, including timing requirements.

You will be located in the Greater Oslo region and will be required to travel as necessary.

Strong communication skills in both a Scandinavian language and English is required.
