Summer Intern - Field Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Øglænd System Product Engineering: Assist in the design, development, and optimization of cable support systems, including tray and ladder configurations for industrial and commercial applications. Collaborate on CAD modeling, material specifications, and performance testing to ensure compliance with international standards.

Hilti Fastening on Steel Trainings: Support the delivery of specialized training sessions on Hilti's advanced fastening solutions for steel structures. Prepare materials, demonstrate installation techniques, and facilitate interactive workshops for clients and internal teams to enhance safety and efficiency.

On-Site Support and Surveys: Provide technical assistance during field installations, conduct site surveys to assess project needs, and document findings for engineering reports. Travel to project sites (local and regional) to troubleshoot issues and ensure seamless integration of Øglænd and Hilti products.

What We're Looking For:

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master’s program in Mechanical, Structural Engineering, or a related field (2nd or 3rd year preferred).

• Basic knowledge of CAD software and familiarity with construction materials/standards.

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset.

• Good communication abilities for training and team collaboration.

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel (up to 30% of time).

• No prior professional experience required. Enthusiasm and a quick learning curve are key!
