An exciting opportunity to join our Digital Ocean Finance team

Kongsberg Maritime is looking for a Project Controller to join our Digital Ocean Finance team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will contribute to ensuring solid financial control and support throughout the lifecycle of our projects.

You will work closely with Project Managers and collaborate with colleagues across Finance, Sales, Delivery and Product Management. Your work will provide valuable financial insight, support project execution, and help maintain strong project performance.

The position is temporary, with an approximate duration of one year. What you will be doing

As our Project Controller, you will:

• Be an active member of the Project Controller team
• Establish projects in ERP systems and maintain project budgets
• Perform invoicing and crediting activities
• Support month-end closing, including revenue and cost recognition
• Prepare monthly project reporting and participate in project reviews
• Identify and evaluate financial risks and opportunities
• Provide financial support and analysis to project teams and stakeholders
• Contribute to continuous improvement and other ad hoc tasks within the Finance team

This role is well suited for recent graduates or candidates early in their careers who want to build experience within project finance and controlling. We think you should have

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
• Understanding of commercial and contractual aspects of project business
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems
• Experience from a similar finance or project controlling role is an advantage
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
