Front-Desk Rental Agent for Camper Vans

Arctic Campers AS is looking for a Rental Agent to join our team in Tromsø. We are looking for a service-minded, reliable, and positive team player who enjoys working with customers in an international environment.

As a Rental Agent, you will be responsible for welcoming customers, managing vehicle pickups and returns, and ensuring a professional handover of our camper vans and rental vehicles. You will also support the daily operation by coordinating bookings, assisting customers, and helping keep the station running efficiently.

Educational and Skill Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, tourism, or a similar role is an advantage

• Good command of English (additional languages such as German, French, Spanish, or Italian are an advantage)

• Valid Category B driver's license

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Independent and structured working style

• Positive attitude, honesty, and ability to work well in a team

Main Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and managing vehicle pickups and returns

• Explaining rental agreements and camper van functions

• Completing rental documentation and processing payments and deposits

• Answering phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries

• Coordinating vehicle pickups, returns, and daily bookings

• Organizing airport pickups when required

• Keeping the reception and front office clean, tidy, and organized

• Supporting operational tasks such as vehicle preparation, quality inspections, and reporting technical issues

• Other related tasks as required

Working Hours

You will work 5 days per week , with 7.5 working hours per day and a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Arctic Campers AS welcomes applications from both Norwegian residents and international candidates.

• Norwegian citizens: No work permit is required.

• EU/EEA citizens: We will assist with the necessary paperwork required to register and work legally in Norway.

• Non-EU/EEA citizens: We do not sponsor work visas or residence permits. Applicants who require visa sponsorship are unfortunately not eligible for this position and should not apply.
