Kistos Energy (Norway) is looking for an experienced Senior Operations & Projects Engineer to join its team in Oslo.

This is a broad technical role across operations, projects and asset development.

As a non-operating partner, Kistos develops its own understanding of technical solutions, cost, schedule and risk to challenge assumptions, identify opportunities and contribute to licence and investment decisions.

In a small organisation, you will work closely across disciplines and be expected to combine technical judgement with an understanding of cost, value and the wider business.

The role will also involve interaction with relevant colleagues across the wider Kistos Group.

Responsibilities

• Review operator plans and proposals and provide independent technical and commercial assessments

• Contribute to planning, scheduling, budgeting and cost follow-up for existing assets and development activities

• Evaluate technical solutions, project execution, cost, schedule and risk

• Identify opportunities to improve production, reduce cost and increase operational efficiency and asset value

• Contribute to HSEQ and risk assessments and ensure relevant regulatory and company requirements are considered

• Provide input to business plans, budgets and forecasts This includes contributions to corporate business planning and budget revision processes.

• Represent Kistos in relevant licence committees and contribute actively to partner discussions and decisions

• Provide operational and project expertise in business development and M&A, including technical due diligence and assessment of potential assets You will also collaborate with relevant colleagues across the Kistos Group in business development and M&A activities where appropriate.

• Work across Kistos' technical and commercial disciplines to develop integrated asset evaluations

Education and experience

• Master's degree in engineering, technology or another relevant discipline

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience from the E&P industry and the Norwegian Continental Shelf

• Broad experience from operations, projects or field development

• Good understanding of project execution, planning, cost, schedule and risk

• Experience from licence work and non-operated assets is highly valued

• Project management experience and strong data and digital skills

• Good written and spoken English and Norwegian
