Are you a strategic problem-solver with a knack for puzzles.
Strawberryis seeking a highly analytical and commercially driven mind to elevate our Meeting & Events (M&E) structure, pricing, and analytics across the Nordic region. This pivotal role is for a specialist who can not only analyze data but also define the future pricing strategy for a strategically important segment.
If you have significant experience developing M&E revenue, understand function space management, and are ready to contribute structured, sustainable long-term profits together with our total profit team, we want to hear from you. You are strategic in your mindset and know where the future lies within the M&E segment, and have a clear plan on how we facilitate it best for our group.
What You Will Own & Drive (Key Responsibilities)As our M&E specialist, you will work within the Business Operations team in the Profit Department to:
- Define and Implement Pricing Strategy: Structure and govern the pricing models and framework for all M&E offerings, collaborating closely with both the Total profit and the Sales team .
- Commercial Analytics: Conduct cost-margin and pricing analysis for both Rooms and M&E to maximize profitability.
- Reporting Excellence: Develop, maintain, and present critical M&E performance reports, ensuring alignment between hotel-level performance and overarching management strategy.
- Stakeholder management: Act as the M&E expert for the Profit Department, managing relationships with Sales, other HQ functions, and external vendors.
- Sales Coordination: Coordinate and structurestandardize pricing across various destinations to optimize regional sales effectiveness.
- Strategy: Be involved in the commercial strategy towards M&E & F&B for the Profit department.
- **Education:**Bachelor´s degree in Economics, Hospitality Management, or equivalent practical experience in Revenue Management or a similar commercial role.
- Expertise: Proven experience in Revenue Management, Hotel Operations, and, specifically, developing and executing M&E pricing strategies.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the hospitality sales funnel, function space management, and hotel operations. Specifically within the meeting & event department.
- Analytical Prowess: Exceptionally strong analytical skills, with a proven ability to leverage data to diagnose commercial issues, optimize sales funnels, and drive business improvement.
- Work Style: Highly self-driven, capable of working independently on complex projects while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and a Scandinavian language is an advantage.

Location: This position is primarily based at Strawberry´s Head Office in Oslo. However, location within Scandinavia may be discussed for an exceptionally qualified candidate. The role involves some travel within the Nordics.
