Station Manager -- Oslo (Near Gardermoen Airport)
Arctic Campers AS is looking for an experienced, motivated, and hands-on Station Manager to take responsibility for the daily operation of our Oslo station, located close to Gardermoen Airport.
As Station Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that customers receive an outstanding experience, employees have the support they need to succeed, and our fleet of camper vans is always prepared to the highest standard.
This is a leadership position for someone who enjoys taking responsibility, leading people by example, and being actively involved in the daily operation rather than managing only from an office.
The position is full-time and starts at the beginning of January.
Training
Before taking over responsibility for the Oslo station, you will complete a mandatory 2.5 month training program at our headquarters in Tromsø.
During this period you will learn every aspect of our operation, including:

Customer service and camper van handovers

Fleet preparation and quality control

Vehicle logistics
-
Camper van equipment and technical systems
-
Daily station management
-
Company procedures and operational standards
Our working language is English, and you will become part of an international team consisting of colleagues from many different countries.
Educational and Skill Requirements

Previous leadership or management experience is an advantage
-
A minimum of 10 years of work experience in any profession is considered a strong advantage
-
Experience from tourism, vehicle rental, hospitality, logistics, automotive, or a similar industry is preferred

Experience leading and developing employees is an advantage
-
Interest in camper vans, tourism, and customer service
-
Basic technical understanding of vehicles or camper vans is an advantage
-
Valid Category B driver's licence (BE licence is an advantage)

Excellent English language skills (additional languages are an advantage)

Strong organizational and communication skills

Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style

Positive attitude, honesty, reliability, and willingness to take responsibility
Main Responsibilities

Managing the daily operation of the Oslo station
-
Leading, motivating, and supporting the station team
-
Onboarding, training, and supervising permanent and seasonal employees

Participating in the daily operation alongside your team whenever required

Ensuring professional customer service and high-quality camper van handovers

Planning and coordinating daily staffing and operational activities
-
Maintaining an overview of the camper van fleet together with the Head of Operations and Fleet Manager

Coordinating vehicle movements between stations and workshops

Ensuring all camper vans meet Arctic Campers' quality standards before every rental
-
Monitoring and maintaining the station's technical equipment, tools, and facilities

Supporting troubleshooting of camper van equipment and coordinating repairs when necessary

Ensuring company procedures, safety standards, and operational routines are followed

Reporting operational performance, challenges, and improvement opportunities to management

Continuously improving station efficiency and customer satisfaction

Performing other operational and administrative tasks as required
Working Hours
This is a full-time permanent position.
Working hours are scheduled according to operational requirements and will include weekends and public holidays during the rental season.

Arctic Campers AS welcomes applications from both Norwegian residents and international candidates.

Norwegian citizens: No work permit is required.

EU/EEA citizens: We will assist with the necessary paperwork required to register and work legally in Norway.
