We believe you will succeed in the role if you have relevant education at minimum bachelor's level, preferably in accounting or finance. You are analytical and accurate, but at the same time fearless and forward in your shoes. Furthermore, you are fluent in written and spoken Norwegian, and confident in English as there will be communication outside our national borders. If you are familiar with Visma accounting and supporting systems, this will also be an advantage, but not a requirement. Both you who are a recent graduate and you with extensive accounting experience are encouraged to apply. There will also be opportunities for roles in business controlling for the right candidate.

Main tasks:

· Accounting and invoicing tasks

· Handle incoming transactions and prepare accounting entries

· Assist with monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting

· Reconciliation and documentation of transactions and balances

· Contribute to budgeting and forecast work

· Contribute to profitability analyses and deviation analyses

· Contribute to maintenance and development of financial routines and processes

· Contribute to development and documentation of internal control

· Follow up intercompany transactions and controlling activities

· Assist in handling of financial compliance matters

· Support project and process improvement work

· Ad-hoc reporting and controlling work within the group

· Liaise with external auditors in connection with the annual audit and reporting process

· Miscellaneous administrative work related to accounting and IT systems etc.

Additional responsibility related to ERP and digitalization

· Act as a key user and contributor in the implementation and further development of the company’s new ERP system

· Participate in testing, setup, and data migration processes

· Contribute to mapping, documenting, and improving financial processes in connection with the system implementation

· Identify opportunities for automation and improved data flow between systems

· Have an interest in finance and enjoy working with numbers

· Takes initiative and sees what needs to be done

· Has an eye for detail, but also sees the big picture

· Has a large working capacity and is accurate

· Collaborates well with colleagues internally and across departments to achieve results

· Superuser in Excel and generally good computer skills

· Has interest in optimizing methods and procedures

Qualifications:

· Higher education in Accounting/Business - Bachelor/Master

· 2-5 years relevant experience
