We are working closely with some of the largest customers in railway infrastructure (Bane NOR) and public transport (Sporveien) in Norway. Among other things, we are delivering a completely new digital signaling system for the railway, the European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS) and for the Oslo metro, Communications-Based Train Control (CBTC). The ERTMS project is the largest digitalization project in Norway to date.
About the role:We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Lead -- Commercial Project Management to join our dynamic team and play a key role in shaping the future of mobility. In this dual-capacity role, you will lead a team of Commercial Project Managers and Project Controllers, while also taking ownership of commercial activities for key projects.
As a Team Lead-Commercial Project Management you will be responsible for mentoring and developing a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment that encourages open communication, accountability, and continuous improvement. Your leadership will ensure the team is equipped with the right skills and tools to deliver accurate project financials and maintain operational excellence. You will be directly reporting to Commercial Head of Project Execution.
What your day-to-day may look like:-
Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing guidance, motivation, and support while ensuring effective task prioritization and resource allocation across projects.

Oversee the setup and financial management of projects, including work breakdown structures (WBS), forecasting, cost accounting, and financial performance monitoring (e.g., actual vs. plan, cash flow, margins).

Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Controlling, Project Management, and other departments to ensure financial accuracy, process alignment, and transparency.

Ensure adherence to project management quality standards (e.g., PM@Siemens) and drive continuous improvement by establishing effective workflows and routines aligned with project plans.

Support Project Managers in change management, including variations in scope, and actively contribute to maintaining project quality and achieving defined goals.

Identify and assess project risks and opportunities, propose mitigation strategies, and implement improvement measures to enhance project outcomes.

Ensure timely invoicing and cash flow management, contributing to the financial health of each project.

Actively engage with internal and external stakeholders, including customer representatives, to resolve commercial issues and maintain strong working relationships.

Master’s degree within business, economics, accounting, or equivalent.

Professional experience (+5years) in commercial project controlling of complex projects, or other similar position.

Solid understanding of business processes.

Experience from contract management and negotiations is an advantage.

Preferred experience in IFRS accounting, particularly related to project-based work.

Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with Power BI, or similar is an advantage.

In depth knowledge with SAP Modules is preferred.

You are proficient in Norwegian and English.
