Snøhetta Oslo is seeking a new Director of Design Technology

Snøhetta is seeking a visionary and hands-on Director of Design Technology to lead the digital evolution of our company. This newly established position will drive the development of smarter, more efficient project workflows by identifying and delivering on organizational and strategic needs together with our specialists across BIM, AI, Sustainability, Quality Management, and Workshop/Visualization. In this role, you will enhance the way we work, collaborate, and deliver projects by integrating digital innovation, data-driven insights, and emerging technologies.

You will

• Lead and drive the implementation of cutting-edge design technologies to foster continuous innovation in how Snøhetta works

• Set direction for the development of tools and templates that streamline and elevate our design processes

• Be responsible for the digital ecosystem (tools, standards, and software) used in Snøhetta Oslo

• Stay at the forefront of global best practice and emerging digital methodologies, perform competitor analysis, and build a network of forward-thinking specialists and collaborators

• Share insights internally to cultivate a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and excellence

• Inspire and grow a high-performing Design Technology team, leading our specialists within BIM, Sustainability, Quality Assurance and Workshop/ visualization

• Liaise with the other Snøhetta studios to ensure best practice is shared and implemented

Qualifications

• Strong digital mindset combined with the ability to inspire, teach and develop others

• Proven experience of driving operational excellence within design technology

• Strong on strategy, decision making, action planning, and prioritization

• Open and curious mindset, and be genuinely interested in how Snøhetta can experiment and improve how we work

• Confident in working in a complex and international transdisciplinary environment

• Fluent in More languages are an asset.

• Degree in BIM/MBA/Operations Management/MArch/Civil Engineer or other relevant higher education
