Are you passionate about customs compliance and ready to help an international company navigate the complexities of customs regulations?
We're seeking Customs Compliance Advisors to join our established customs department in Norway, where you will be part of the Compliance Nordic team and will play a key role in ensuring smooth and compliant customs operations.
About Compliance NordicThe Compliance Nordic team is an internal support function with 16 dedicated professionals. Together, we ensure that our company stays ahead of ever-evolving customs regulations and maintains compliance excellence.
In this role, you'll be at the forefront of our customs operations, supporting the business with customs-related expertise and driving initiatives to meet the highest regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
As a Customs Compliance Advisor, you'll play a vital role in keeping our operations ahead of evolving customs regulations. Acting as a trusted expert, you'll guide departments through regulatory challenges, manage audits, and support key certifications like AEO and ISO to ensure compliance excellence.
Your responsibilities include monitoring legal changes, conducting impact assessments, and implementing new procedures to mitigate risks and optimize customs processes. You'll collaborate with authorities, customers, and internal teams to improve governance, handle permits and appeals, and deliver in-house training. This is your chance to drive compliance, streamline operations, and make a meaningful impact on our international business.
What We Are Looking ForWe're seeking someone with a strong interest in customs brokerage and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, enjoys solving regulatory challenges, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
You'll bring the following skills and qualities to the role:

A strong theoretical and/or practical understanding of customs brokerage and regulatory frameworks.

Project-oriented, with the drive to take assignments through to completion.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in one of the Scandinavian languages and English.
