Project Engineer Technical Safety

Petrolink is looking for a project engineer for technical safety to prepare execution and follow-up of suppliers

Contract location: Stavanger, Norway

Tasks

The role will require you to work in a multidisciplinary team following topside projects. Typical tasks include preparing execution, follow-up of suppliers and participating in QA/QC activities in the projects.

Qualifications

We are looking for the right candidate with the following qualifications:

Bachelor or Master degree within the field of technical safety, or in another relevant technical discipline like process, mechanical or automation.

Relevant experience in technical safety may compensate for formal qualifications.

Minimum 5+ relevant work experience within project support.

Oil and gas offshore experience is preferred, either from operation support or engineering.

Experience within all or some of the following technical safety areas of competence is preferred: active fire protection, passive fire protection, escape, evacuation and rescue, and layout design principles and explosion barriers.

Experience with risk management (ALARP, HAZID, HAZOP), and ability to identify, communicate, and manage risk.

Knowledge of Norwegian technical requirements and standards, and ability to communicate requirements and show direction towards internal and external stakeholders.
