The Junior Planning Analyst will assist in designing and delivering key planning models and reporting tied to Helly Hansens strategy and priorities. The role bridges business processes, reporting and technical planning requirements and improvements. Some key deliverables of this function include providing dashboards and reports with relevant data insight so planning scenarios, forecasting and analytics can be efficiently processed and informed decisions can be made to contribute to the growth of the business. The Junior Planning Analyst serve as a liaison between planning tools, analytics, and business development to find ways to increase productivity, efficiency and profitability.
Key responsibilities:- Assist in operationalizing planning models and processes in relevant tools and reports to enhance planning accuracy.
- Bridge planning and forecasting initiatives to the business utilizing relevant data, tools and systems to align and incorporate relevant reports and KPIs.
- Develop, maintain and improve planning dashboards to provide visibility of current performance and future trends.
- Ensure highest levels of data accuracy, data integrity and data governance.
- Ensure data is presented in a digestible format and timely manner to allow users to make data-driven decisions.
- Work collaboratively with relevant functions to design and implement planning dashboards and conduct analysis to answer challenging business questions.
- Maintain and oversee dataflows in HH Anaplan application, ensuring smooth operations and high reliability.
- Promote user’s adoption of Anaplan through documentation and support.
- Look for operational and technical improvement opportunities that can drive positive change at our company.
Reports to: Director of Product and Omni Channel Planning
Location: Oslo, Norway
What we are looking for:- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Economics, or Finance.
- 1-3 years of experience in similar technical roles.
- Good understanding of Planning and Forecasting processes and systems.
- Process and systems orientation, with focus on continuous improvement of tools and workflows.
- Critical thinking and analytic orientation, solid understanding of statistics.
- Data visualization skills (experience in SAP BusinessObjects, Tableu, PowerBI or similar visualization tools).
- Great English and/or Norwegian verbal and written communications skills to effectively work with teams, vendors, and clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Computer skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel (including VBA, Pivot Tables, array functions, Power Pivots, etc.). Experience with Anaplan or SAP BI solution is a plus, but not required.
- Strong business and commercial acumen is a plus.
- Self- starter: Strong ability to undertake analyses and deliver projects independently in a fast-paced business environment.
