Kitchen Employee for a tourism company

The job includes a variety of tasks in the kitchen. The Employee will be part of the team that takes care of food preparation for the activities.

The person hired must already be based in Tromsø and with all appropriate work visas.

Main tasks

• Packing down from tours (kitchen)

• Preparing food for tours

• Cleaning tasks in our kitchen area

Required skills

• Good organizational and communication skills, structured and solution-oriented thinking

• Ability to work in a team and in a hectic work environment

• Language proficiency in English required, both oral and written

• Basic cooking and kitchen skills to be able to work in a professional kitchen

Additional desired skills

Speaks good English

What we expect from you

We are looking for a positive and hard-working person, who will be flexible taking different tasks and work with a changing schedule. The schedule and tasks can change last minute - depending on the bookings we have as well as the environmental conditions as well as a vehicle or team member being out of action.

The winter-time is hectic period for us and the work requires ability to handle stress, to solve problems and to adapt to last-minute changes.

The person needs to be comfortable with changes, be comfortable with being flexible and to fit into our existing team.

We are looking for a person who can work 4 days a week, from Saturday to Tuesday.
