As a Claims and Warranty Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction by managing and resolving warranty claims efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for analyzing claim cases, coordinating with suppliers, and facilitating communication with customers to provide timely resolutions.
This is a temporary, one-year position to cover for a colleague on parental leave.
Key tasks and responsibilities:- Register customer claims promptly and accurately in the internal claims management system.
- Analyze and evaluate claim cases to assess warranty eligibility and determine necessary actions.
- Identify and report potential improvement opportunities, initiating discussions with relevant departments.
- Submit claims to suppliers as needed, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
- Serve as a primary communication point for customers, providing updates and support throughout the claims process.
- Coordinate purchase orders for replacement parts associated with claims.
- Prepare and organize sales orders, shipment documentation, and logistics for replacement parts.
- Minimum 3--5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in claims or warranty management.
- Background in technical service, production, or mechanical design/automation, mechanical or electrical engineering background is a benefit.
- Interest in waste handling technology systems and sustainable solutions.
- Proven experience in technical troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Solid understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and suppliers in both English and Norwegian.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying improvement opportunities and drivingsolutions.
