The IT Help Desk Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting all workplace-relevant activities, including meeting rooms, showrooms, and remote office locations. This role involves assisting internal staff with day-to-day IT incidents through various channels such as face-to-face interactions, over-the-phone support, screen sharing, remote control, live chat support, and email support. The engineer will also track and manage incident tickets through internal ticketing systems, create user accounts, and configure hardware as part of the onboarding process.
Responsibilities- Support all workplace relevant activities, including meeting rooms, showrooms and remote office locations
- Support our internal staff with the day to day IT incidents:
- Face 2 Face
- Over-the-phone
- Screen Sharing & Remote Control
- Live Chat support (Instant Messaging)
- Email Support
- Provide Coaching & Best Practices
- Track & Manage Incident Tickets through Internal Ticketing systems.
- Create users accounts and configure hardware as part of on-boarding process
- Support audio and video equipment in conference rooms
- Build FAQ and best practices together with our external partners to improve the Client Management and Service offerings
- Manage remote access to central applications
- Support smaller application upgrades of internal tools
- Operate & Support Client applications at Helly Hansen
- Support with MS Office and challenges
- Service minded and eager to help and support users with solving their problems.

- Capability to explain technical problems in “normal user language”
- Able to work and cooperate with colleagues in a multi-cultural environment.
- IT mindset
- Sound understanding of the MS Office & Office 365 product suite
- Not afraid of working hands-on.
- Have a sound understanding of IT Client technology
- Familiar with Entra, Intune and Office 365
- Able to support Mac users
- Experience with software distribution.
- Superb Norwegian skill
- Fluent English skills
- 2-3 years of IT Help Desk experience
- Good general technical understanding
