We are rapidly expanding into the Offshore Renewables segment and also joining market leading industry alliances such as the Windstaller Alliance together with Aker Solutions and Solstad.
In this growing market we are looking to strengthen our Commercial Team for inter-array cable-lay and seabed intervention services, by expanding the team with a team-oriented Tender Manager with a can-do attitude who wants to join a fun, fast-paced and professional working environment.
Role Purpose
The Senior Tender Manager will be overall responsible and manage the tender team for specific pre-qualifications and tenders to ensure that technical, commercial, and contractual offerings are sound, in compliance with procedures and risk profile and in accordance with the client expectations in order to secure a successful outcome.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The key responsibilities for the Senior Tender Manager are:
- Overall responsible for specific pre-qualifications and tenders.
- Manage the tender team and delegate responsibilities for tender input in the organization
- Single point of contact for clients and management during the various phases of the tendering process from pre-qualification phase until signing of the contract
- Ensure that technical, commercial, and contractual offerings are sound and in accordance with our procedure as well as reflecting the risk level of the tendered project
- Identify differentiators, winning criteria and promote “outside the box” thinking to enhance chance of winning the work. Liaise closely with technical and innovation team.
- Develop tender strategy based on Company strategy, pricing level, risk and present same to representatives of senior management in tenderboard
- Maintain regular communication with clients through the tender process to ensure their requirements are being delivered and their expectations are met
- Participate in clarification meetings and contract negotiations with customers
- Conduct handover with project team and follow up/support during project execution to ensure feedback/LL and develop opportunities that may arise during project execution
- Foster a culture of commercial mindset, risk mitigation and optimisation of opportunity.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree preferably within industrial economics, economics, business- and/or contractual administration or other relevant discipline.
- Minimum 5 years working experience from contract and commercial management or from a similar role within the renewables sector and/or oil & gas sector.
- Excellent commercial mindset and contractual understanding, with a good knowledge of legal concepts relevant to the industry.
- Experience with relevant contract standards such as NTK, NS, FIDIC and/ or BIMCO is an advantage.
- Ability to effectively negotiate, along with high professional standards of written and spoken English are essential for the role.
Subsea industry experience and/or technical understanding may be an advantage, but not a requirement.

- Must possess people management and leadership skills and have a strong commercial awareness and experience.
- Strong time management skills and abilitiy to set and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong co-ordination, organisational and liaison skills with the ability to seek and gain consensus solutions to business issues and challenges.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work efficiently as an individual as well as part of a multi-disciplined team.
- Possess an eye for detail with an ability to produce work of a high standard and accuracy.
