We are a vibrant and multidisciplinary centre, with dedicated and engaged employees. Together we have skills and knowledge of all parts of e-health. The centre's mission is to provide knowledge and research reflecting national needs. Health analytics includes advanced analytics of medical and health services data. The field has emerged as an important area for future healthcare.
We seek a software developer with an ambition to support our research activities. This is a temporary part-time position in 80 percentage until the end of November 2021. We are looking for a developer with experience in different platforms and software development environments, ability to work in a team, and motivated to learn new and complex problems. The main part of our codebase is written in Java.
Duties and responsibilities
- Software development to support international research project ASCLEPIOS.
- Collaborate with researchers, advisors and software developers at the center and external partners.
Qualifications
- minimum a bachelor degree in computer science or relevant fields
- experience in Java Development
- strong understanding of Object-oriented programming (OOP)
- strong knowledge of Core Java
- experience with automated testing platforms including unit testing platforms
- experience in application containerization technologies (docker and docker-compose)
- basic knowledge of cloud computing experience with relational databases and SQL
- experience on REST web services
- basic experience on version control systems (Git)
Utdanningsnivå
- College / University, Bachelor's degree
Personal qualities
- ability to work independently and in a team
- motivation and ability to work with complex problems
- strong oral and written communication skills in English
- communication skills in Norwegian language is an advantage
- good social skills
