In Bergen, the DevOps team in Aibel IT is growing and we are looking for someone who embraces a good challenge, and even more, the opportunity! The team is responsible for developing new- and moving existing applications from our old architecture to our new development platform - on web!
About the positionAs a Senior Front-end developer in our team your responsibility is to act as an advisor and take lead in ongoing and future development of Aibel's applications - as well as being a mentor. Responsibilities and tasks include- As part of the DevOps team collaborate with the Business to achieve the correct solutions
- Establish test processes for code analysis and ensure heighten security
- Refine and keep DevOps Component Library up to date
- Develop yourself and the team to achieve robust and time-relevant solutions
- Working in ServiceNow Agile Development for resolving tasks
- Bachelor's degree or higher within Information Technology
- Minimum 7+ years experience as a front-end developer
- In-depth knowledge of React framework
- Knowledge of APIs, Microservices, Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes
- Experience from Agile Development, Large and Small development Projects, Energy Sector
- ServiceNow Knowledge Base (or similar tools for documentation)
- Good oral and written communication skills in English (All written correspondance and documentation will be in English)
- Flexible and positive with good collaboration skills
- Independent and willing to learn
- Confident in serving as a role model
- Structured and systematic approach
