Are you our new colleague? We have a 100% position available as a data scientist/biostatistician in our reasearch group, the Clinical Effectiveness Research group, Department of Transplantation Medicine, Oslo University Hospital, Oslo, Norway.
The Clinical Effectiveness Research group is a world-leading, innovative and dynamic research group with extensive expertise in clinical and epidemiological research.
We run large trials and observational studies in clinical medicine, cancer screening and clinical epidemiology with over 300,000 patients alltogether.

The position is available from June 1, 2024, but we are flexible for the right candidate. The position will run for 2 years, with a good possibility for extension.
With the vacant position, we seek to further improve our exceptional research track record.
We will include the position holder in ongoing and future research projects that are conducted by the research group, including planning of new studies, data collection, data analyses and publication. The individual appointed will work together with researchers and partners on several different projects.

Qualification requirements
- Applicants should hold a Doctoral degree in data science or biostatistics and have experience in analysis of clinical trial and epidemiology statistics in medicine.
Specific expertise is required in
- research-related statistics in medicine
- sample size calculations
- planning of study design and analyses
- data cleaning and interpretation
- use and interpretation of outcome measures
Personal qualities
The ideal candidate has experience in state-of-the-art analyses of clinical trials and clinical epidemiology, is innovative and independent, has good communicative skills, and is a team player.
