Our Director of Digital strategy plays a crucial role in developing and implementing our digital strategy in our Sales, Marketing and After-Sales business areas. The role involves identifying digital opportunities, creating digital transformation roadmaps, and ensuring that digital initiatives align with business objectives to drive growth and innovation.
This position requires intensive collaboration with KHE Business transformation team and other cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, product management, and operations to integrate digital technologies and strategies into KvG’s overall business plan.
Here are some key responsibilities:
- Identify and Analyze Processes: Evaluate current business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop digital strategies: Develop and execute a comprehensive digital strategy that aligns with KvG’s business objectives. Identify and prioritize digital opportunities and initiatives to drive business growth and innovation.
- Leadership and Team management: Facilitate PMO applications and reporting. Lead, mentor, and develop the digital strategy team to achieve high performance. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to team members
- Digital Transformation: Oversee digital transformation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet business objectives. Develop digital transformation roadmaps and implement best practices to drive change.
- Market and competitive analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the digital landscape. Use data-driven insights to inform digital strategies and decision-making.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with IT, marketing, product management, and operations teams to integrate digital strategies into the overall business plan. Ensure effective communication and alignment with stakeholders throughout the digital strategy lifecycle.
- Monitor and optimization: Monitor and analyze the performance of digital initiatives using key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytics tools. Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance the effectiveness of digital strategies.
- Foster continuous improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement in the KvG. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in digital technologies and strategies. Implement innovative solutions to enhance digital capabilities and drive business growth.
- Manage supplier relationship: Contribute to vendor selection, manage contract discussions & organize daily cooperation.
- Steer Training and support: Facilitate training and support to staff on new and improved processes.
Our Director of Digital Strategy needs a diverse set of skills to effectively manage and optimize our operations:
Digital Strategy Expertise:
- Deep understanding of digital strategy development, implementation, and optimization.
- Knowledge of digital marketing, digital transformation, and emerging digital technologies.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing digital strategy challenges.
- Decision-Making: Strong decision-making abilities to implement changes that align with business goals.
Technical proficiency:
- Proficiency in digital strategy tools and software, such as analytics platforms, CRM systems, and project management tools.
- Experience with digital marketing technologies, data analytics, and digital transformation tools.
- ERP Systems: Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and other business management software.
Leadership and Management: Experience in managing cross-functional teams and working collaboratively with other senior executives.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills to oversee process improvement initiatives from start to finish.
- Team Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead a high-performing digital strategy team.
- Change Management: Expertise in managing organizational change and ensuring smooth transitions.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
- Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present digital strategy information to various stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skillswith the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners.
Attention to Detail:
- Quality Assurance: Ensuring that all process improvements meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Documentation: Meticulous in documenting processes and changes for future reference and compliance.
Languages:
- English (B2 minimum)
- French or Norwegian, depending on location (B2 minimum)
- Any other language is an asset
- Master’s or Engineering Degree (FR = Level 7) in Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Additional certifications like PMP (Project management Institute), ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) or Lean Six Sigma are a strong asset.
- Significant experience in business process management, with a preference for those with global software or ERP rollout experience.
- Main current projects team is engaged in;
- CRM migration to on-premise version 9.1
- OCPIS; One Common Product Information system
- Partner Portal, further development
- MyKv/MyVicon, re-design of end customer offering
- KWE -- post go-live support, change requests
- Nordic warehouse (After Sales)
