Main responsibilities:
As Area Sales Manager Norway you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and grow the sales with existing customers based in Norway.
Your main customer will be:
OEMs building equipment for Oil and Gas Applications, OEMs building cranes for containers and bulk terminals, Port authorities, main contractors to terminal operators, electrical integrators and consulting companies for the shore power products and MoorMaster as well as Electrification systems providers?
Your key tasks will be:
· Maintain and develop high level sales relationships in order to maintain and increase market quotas.
· Plan, develop and execute business development activities and manage regional marketing plan.
· Responsible for market intelligence to uncover potential new leads and/or emerging markets.
· Drive the sales activities and actions for products as well as the service offerings.
· Develop a business plan covering sales and revenues, assist in the development of the annual marketing plan.
· Analyze technical and commercial tender documentation to be able to prepare commercial offers
· Identify all the relevant technical issues to insure complete satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.
· Forecast sales for each product within the assigned area.
Expected experience:
· Strong experience in value based technical selling and strong market knowledge in the ports and maritime industry.
· Strong track record in articulating technology, product features, and benefits to both business, technical users and other stakeholders.
· Experience in working with and influencing complex multi stakeholder network of decision makers.
· Experience in negotiating international sales contracts.
Requirements:
· Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent technical sales experience is mandatory
· Fluent in English both spoken and written.
