EHS Manager (Nordics and Scotland)
The EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating work across three feed manufacturing facilities in Norway and one in Scotland. The position requires a person with leadership and influencing skills and a passion for driving results and continuous improvement for the EHS area; emphasizing team leadership to ensure cooperation, flexibility and efficiency through the organization.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person who is passionate about environmental, health and safety issues. Our EHS Manager will work in an international environment and will have the opportunity to contribute with expertise across the region. You will get a very central role to develop and implement the Cargill EHS program, standards, and procedures.
This position reports to the Site Manager and is part of the Site leadership team.
Main Tasks:
•Development and implementation of EHS strategy
•Maintenance and continuous improvement of EHS results
•Shaping of the internal EHS culture
•Management of the external EHS brand
•Leadership of talent management practices.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor/Master's degree in management, science subject or commensurate experience
•Proven relevant experience within EHS, quality systems and relevant areas preferably from a similar manufacturing environment (e.g. food/feed, ingredients, chemicals)
•Some experience in leading a team
•Ability to prepare and present clear and concise oral and written opinions, reports and presentations
•Thorough knowledge of standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 and other relevant standards
•Previous experience in building and maintaining management systems
•Structured and analytical with good planning and implementation capacity
•Fluent in Norwegian and English
