Work tasks:
To be familiar with and adhere to the overall requirements for project control described in project governing documents, ensuring that project targets are achieved.
Cost
- Establish basis for commitments and actual cost in SAP/IFS Cost Control System.
- Estimate cost consequences of variation orders using input from the Converter Project team.
- Process invoices from contractors via eRoom process
- Monthly reporting
- Update status on options, variation orders and provisional sum amounts
- Estimate and refine cost and cash forecasts including time-phasing and currency impact (with Finance)
Inform about forecast on Converter Contract including:-
- Future: payment milestones and progress on contract
- Variation Orders / Variation Order Request -- estimates and approved values
- People
- Infrastructure
- Perform cost performance analysis and reporting
- Contribute in cost uncertainty analysis
- Conduct budget updates including documentation of changes for Converter Contract
Schedule
- Conduct Contract Schedule Reviews
- Implement and manage Converter, sub-project deliverables
- Monthly reporting
- Evaluate schedule reported progress and changes
- Analyse and compare variance in planned vs. actual and forecast dates
- Identify and mange schedule risks and opportunities
- Keep Company sub-project schedule updated in Primavera P6
- Re-baseline schedule as per re-baseline process
- Conduct scenario analysis and schedule uncertainty analysis
- Regular liaison with the Project Schedule to ensure alignment with the Total Control Schedule
- Work closely with the Converter Management team to identify and maintain Project Management (PM) deliverables for inclusion in PM monthly reporting.
Risk
- Using the EasyRisk tool, ensure that all project members regularly participate in identifying risks and opportunities
- Perform qualitative and quantitative risk assessment
- Ensure appropriate mitigation action plans are in place
- Monitor and control risks and evaluate residual risks
- Monthly reporting
- Hotspot risks for contracts and sub-project, identifying those for inclusion in Steering Committee reporting
- Monitor impact on Uncertainty Drivers
- Conduct risk management workshops as part of the regular review process

- Including the co-ordination of reporting from SHEQ team and Contract Manager.
