Group Controller
NAVTOR specializes in providing e-navigation and maritime digital services to the shipping industry. Our primary focus is on creating digital solutions that help optimize navigation, improve efficiency, and enhance safety for vessels at sea.
We are experiencing a significant organic growth after the acquisition by Accel-KKR in 2020. Over the last three years, NAVTOR has also completed three acquisitions with the latest one completed in November 2023. We are eager to strengthen the team and offer an interesting, challenging job opportunity to the right candidate. We are looking for a pro-active, dedicated person to join our Finance department in Egersund, but with global exposure.
As a Group Controller in NAVTOR, you will be joining an international team of highly talented and motivated people. Our team in Egersund consists of 7 people working in different areas within Finance and you will be collaborating with ~40 Finance colleagues in our offices globally.
The role:
As our new Group Controller, you will play a crucial role in guiding the Company through the next phase in driving global alignment within the Finance function.
Other task will include:
- Consolidation of >20 legal entities
- Monthly Management Reporting to Accel-KKR
- Drive global alignment in processes and procedures
- Lead contact person for our global Audit partner
- Corporate Income Tax optimization
- Drive Intercompany process
What we're looking for:
To excel in this role, you should:
- 3 - 5 years higher education in economics, ideally with a CPA accreditation
- Experience from an international audit firm is an advantage
- Previous exposure to Private Equity is an advantage
- Excellent skills and understanding of Excel modelling
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Capability to drive global alignment

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good economics and business understanding
