You are familiar with working independently in the field, but also appreciate leading a team of experts in customer workshops and tender processes. As the Sales & Business Development Manager for Nel Hydrogen in the Nordics, you will strategically drive business growth in the renewable hydrogen market. Based in Norway, you will embody Nel's values of professionalism and trustworthiness while expanding its presence and influence in the region.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Develop strategies and execute plans for growing Nel’s business in the Nordics to achieve the company’s sales goals
- Identify and assess market opportunities and prospects, and lead business development and commercial activities within your segments/regions
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing and new customers, act as global or regional key account manager for certain strategic accounts
- Attend industry events, conferences, and other relevant gatherings
- Drive the development of new market initiatives and ensure knowledge sharing and collaboration across Nel’s global organization
- Collaborate closely with Nel’s large projects tender organization to define tender strategies and support execution to win contracts
You bring with you more than 7 years of international experience in business development and sales in any industry sector. Experience from renewable energy, hydrogen, industrial gases, fuel, or the chemical process industry will be an an advantage. We also value your commercial mindset, customer focus, communication skills, and analytical and strategic thinking.
Your experience has enabled you to navigate in cross-functional, international environments and your track record demonstrates your ambitions, self-dependence, team collaboration and result achievements. You are fluent in business English, and preferably in another European language. Frequent travel within the region is expected.
