What you’ll do
We’re looking for a Finance Controller for Specsavers Norwegian business. Here you’ll be part of the Finance Department with special focus on store financials and performance.
You’ll be responsible for a selection of our stores in Norway. This includes financial reporting and communication of store performance within the organisation with the purpose to monitor and improve store performance. The role will also include improving and developing organisational routines and processes to further enhance the services provided to store partners as well as other departments.
Your main tasks will be
- Analyse financial data to present financial reports to the management team and store partners
- Communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to our stores and monitor progress or changes
- Handle daily ad hoc queries from Azets, the Retail department and store partners
- Produce store budgets and own the store budget process
- Ensure an accurate and timely Business Transfer process as well as support new partners through close collaboration with the Retail team
- Produce and distribute KPI reports and data extracts on all stores regularly (daily, weekly, and monthly) to monitor store performance and support other functions in the organisation.
Who you are
In our dynamic Retail environment, you will be proactive and take the lead on initiatives that benefit our business. You have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and develop strong relations with both internal and external partners at all levels. You should also be able to work with tight deadlines, as things develop fast in our fast-paced retail environment.
To be successful in this role you have
- Bachelor within Finance related educations
- 2-4 years of experience within Finance / Accounting
- Proficiency in producing and presenting financial reports
- Excellent skills in Excel
- Fluent in Norwegian and good English skills.
Additionally, a Master within Finance related educations and experience with the retail business is a plus, but not a must.
