Vi søker Vetting Manager til vårt HSEQ-team
Main responsibilities
- Development, implementation and execution of Golar Management objectives, policies, processes and procedures related to vetting.
- Carry out sailing pre-vetting inspections, navigation and cargo audits onboard as required.
- Ensure that the Sire inspections are arranged in conjunction with charter party/industry standards requirements and are responded to and closed out in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure that the Vetting tools are kept up to date and the data are correctly managed to ensure timely and correct trend-analysis.
- Organize and attend regular meetings with the relevant vetting institutions (including oil majors) in order to maintain a good working relationship with them.
- Ensure that VPQ and Crew Matrix of vessels are correct and kept updated at all times.
- Ensure that the TMSA is published, maintained up to date and coordinate the internal office process.
- Focal point for the TMSA audit reviews and arrangement of such.
- Ensure that crew and shore staff are trained and kept up to date in all matters related to vetting, in cooperation with Crewing and HSEQ department.
- Keep Management updated on matters related to Vetting.
- Monitor legislative changes, industry recommendations, inspection trends or safety/operational performance and contribute to the Continuous Improvement process
Desired qualifications
- Master or Chief Engineer license, preferably with a sailing background as Chief Engineer or Master.
- Minimum 5 year's work experience in managing ship vettings with track record of improving vetting performance.
- SIRE or similar accreditation is beneficial and shall be considered but not mandatory.
- Knowledge about Maritime standards, maritime regulations and Industry best practices.
- Close relations with relevant industry stakeholders.
- Able to handle a challenging, hectic and heavy workload.
- Ability to travel on short notice as required.
- Excellent language skills in English, Norwegian is an advantage
- Flexible and comfortable in an international work environment.
- Professional and constructive team player.
Work location is Oslo.
