As we continue to expand our operations and as a part of successor planning , we are seeking an experienced Senior Contracting and Procurement Manager to join our team.
About Frontline Management AS:Frontline Management AS, a subsidiary of Frontline PLC., provides technical management services & project management solutions including new build concept & execution to Frontline PLC., Golden Ocean Group Limited, SFL Ltd, Avance GAS, Flex LNG and Seatankers Management Co. Ltd. The current on the water managed fleet is approximately 300 ships, and includes Oil tankers, LNG carriers, LPG carriers, Bulk carriers, Car carriers and container ships. Frontline Management AS is also overseeing approximately 45 newbuilding contracts for delivery through the end of 2027.
About the position:The Senior Contracting and Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of contracting and procurement activities within the technical management of our vessels within Shipping Group companies’ maritime industry. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies. The successful candidate will play a critical role in optimizing procurement processes, minimizing costs, and maximizing value for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:-
Further develop and implement contracting and procurement strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.

Lead the negotiation and execution of contracts with suppliers, service providers, and other relevant stakeholders.

Evaluate supplier performance and maintain ongoing relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation in the procurement process.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and finance professionals, to support project requirements and timelines.

Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and supplier capabilities.

Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, bidding, contracting, and supplier management.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies throughout the procurement lifecycle.

Develop and maintain procurement documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and vendor agreements.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior procurement team members, fostering their professional development and growth.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in contracting and procurement roles within the maritime industry.
• Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and achieving cost savings.
• In-depth knowledge of maritime industry regulations, market dynamics, and supply chain best practices.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex procurement data and make strategic recommendations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools, such as ERP systems, e-procurement platforms, and contract management software.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the capacity to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a dynamic environment.
