Real-World Evidence Manager

Novo Nordisk Norway seeks a dedicated and highly motivated Real-World Evidence (RWE) Manager to lead and coordinate RWE projects and other projects related to health data analysis.
The Position
As RWE Manager you will lead, and coordinate projects related to RWE and health data as an essential part of the medical team in the CMR department (clinical, medical, regulatory). You will report directly to our Head of Medical Affairs in Norway and be an active partner for cross- functional internal stakeholders.
You will be leading and coordinating RWE-projects with different stakeholders, accessing and managing health data from relevant health registers. You will be initiating projects based on the company and market needs to gain insight into the cardiometabolic therapy area, patient populations and relevant treatments.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing data management plans
- Analyzing and interpreting complex health data
- Ensuring quality control of data and adherence to regulatory requirements
- Communicating findings to internal and external stakeholders
- Managing internal processes and following up with ISS (Investigator sponsored studies) in Norway
- Staying up to date with the latest developments in health data management and analysis
The role is based in Oslo and involves up to 20% business travels.
Qualifications
You are a Medical Doctor, Pharmacist (MSc or PhD-level) or hold a Master's in Bioscience with preferably research experience and a minimum of 5 years of experience from the Pharmaceutical Industry.
On top of what we would expect:
- Experience in managing health data and developing data management plans and projects
- Knowledge of Norwegian regulatory requirements for health data management
- Proficiency in MS Office programmes and IT systems is essential
- Fluent in Norwegian and proficient English language skills in both written and spoken forms
- Residency in the Oslo area
As a person, you are curious and proactive, able to take initiatives and approaching new challenges and work tasks. You possess analytical skills and attention to details, with strong teamwork capabilities and stakeholder management. You are a communicator able to make high impact presentations, as well as an individual contributor able to work independently and collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team.
About the department
Medical Affairs consists of three medical advisors and one Real World Evidence Manager, all reporting to Head of Medical Affairs. The CMR department leads all clinical, medical, and regulatory efforts for Novo Nordisk’s robust portfolio and new products in the pipeline.
